Terms of Service
The ground rules for using COP Ready.
Last updated 21 October 2026
1. These terms
These terms are the agreement between you and COP Ready. By creating an account or using the app, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.
"We" or "us" means the COP Ready team. You can reach us at hello@copready.app.
2. Who can use COP Ready
You must be 18 or older. If you are using COP Ready for an organisation, you confirm you have authority to accept these terms on that organisation's behalf.
3. Your account
- Keep your sign-in details secure, and do not share your account with anyone else.
- You are responsible for everything done through your account.
- Give us accurate details, and keep them up to date.
- One account per person.
4. What the service is
COP Ready helps you prepare for and work through a climate conference. It gives you one place for your contacts, your daily priorities, your story and pitch, meeting briefings, and AI-assisted guidance.
COP Ready is a preparation tool. It does not represent you, negotiate for you, or act on your behalf, and it does not guarantee any meeting, partnership, funding or outcome.
5. Plans, fees and renewals
- There is a free tier with the core features, and paid plans with additional features.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout, before you pay.
- Paid plans renew automatically, monthly or annually, until you cancel.
- We may change prices. If we do, we will give you notice, and the new price applies from your next renewal.
- You can cancel at any time. Your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
6. Refunds
Payments are generally not refundable. If something has gone wrong with a charge, email us within 14 days of the payment and we will look at it properly.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.
7. Acceptable use
Please do not:
- Break any law, or use the app to harass, threaten, mislead or defame anyone.
- Record personal information about other people without a proper reason to hold it.
- Copy, scrape, resell, sublicense or white-label the app or its content.
- Try to access another person's data, or interfere with the app's security or operation.
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code, other than as the law allows.
- Use the AI features to generate unlawful, deceptive or harmful content.
- Pretend to be someone else, or misrepresent your affiliation.
8. Your content
The content you put into COP Ready stays yours. That includes your contacts, notes, story, pitches and feedback.
You give us permission to store, process and display your content so that we can run the app and provide the features you use. That includes sending content to our processors for the AI features you switch on and for the emails you sign up to.
This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from backup copies and records we are required to keep.
You are responsible for making sure you have the right to store the information you enter, including details about other people.
9. AI-generated content
AI features produce suggestions. They can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, and they do not know things you have not told them.
AI output is not legal, financial, negotiation, investment, medical or other professional advice. Check anything important before you rely on it.
You remain responsible for what you say and do at a conference, and for the decisions you make.
10. Third-party services
If you connect Google Calendar, Gmail or Google Drive, your use of those services is also governed by Google's terms. Payments are governed by Stripe's terms. We are not responsible for those services.
11. Our intellectual property
The app itself, including its design, text, branding and code, belongs to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app while these terms apply. That right ends when your account ends.
12. Availability and changes to the service
We aim to keep COP Ready available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change, add or remove features, and we may suspend the service for maintenance or updates.
13. Disclaimers
COP Ready is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we exclude all warranties that are not set out in these terms, including any warranty that the app will be error-free or fit for a particular purpose.
14. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost opportunities, lost data or lost profits, however they arise.
Where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law.
15. Ending your access
- You can stop using COP Ready at any time and delete your account from the Trust and Privacy page in the app.
- We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if we are required to by law, or if we stop offering the service. Where we can, we will tell you first.
- When your access ends, your right to use the app ends. Sections about your content, disclaimers, liability and governing law continue to apply.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of Australia.
17. The whole agreement
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us about the app. If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app changes. The date at the top of this page will change when we do. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app or by email, and continuing to use COP Ready means you accept the updated terms.
